Film

The Bachelor of Arts in Film helps students recognize, understand and produce effective storytelling for the screen. You can also combine the study of film with a variety of majors and minors like Theatre, Creative Writing, Animation and others.

Growth Industry

The television and film industries are booming in Oklahoma thanks to economic incentives for producers and rapid growth of local studio facilities. BA Film graduates can start their professional careers right here in Oklahoma with companies like Paramount+, AppleTV, FX Network and others bringing projects to the state.

*Students enrolled in both the BA in Film and the BA in Theatre may select to complete a Film capstone or a Theatre capstone project. If they choose to complete the Theatre capstone project, they will complete the B.A. in Film requirements with 38 credit hours in the major.
